MOCC – Online Competitive Exams Academy ("MOCC", "we", "us") publishes this website at moccprep.com to share exam-preparation guidance, notes and updates for CSS, PMS, PPSC, FPSC and one-paper competitive exams. This Privacy Policy explains what information we come across when you use this site and how we handle it.

Information We Collect

Most of this website can be read without creating an account. We only receive personal information when you choose to give it to us directly — for example, if you message us on WhatsApp or email us at Mocclive@gmail.com (in which case we see whatever you send us, such as your name, phone number, or the content of your message), or if you create a free account on our Student Portal.

If you create a Student Portal account, we collect the full name, email address and access level (for example FREE, PREMIUM, CSS, PMS) associated with your account. Your password is never visible to MOCC — it is stored and verified securely by our authentication provider, and MOCC staff, including admins, cannot see or retrieve it.

Student Portal Accounts & Authentication

The Student Portal uses Google Firebase (Authentication and Firestore Database) to run account sign-up, log-in, password reset and access-level features. When you sign up, Firebase stores your name, email address, account-creation date, and access level on our behalf, protected by access-control rules that only let you read your own data and let MOCC admins read and update access levels for the purpose of managing enrolments.

Forgotten passwords are reset using Firebase's built-in reset-link email flow — MOCC never sees, sets, or requests your password directly. You can change your password at any time the same way.

Access levels (FREE, PREMIUM, CSS, PMS, ONE PAPER, IELTS, ALL ACCESS) control which course resources you can see inside the Student Portal once enrolled with MOCC; they are assigned or changed only by an authorised MOCC admin.

Digital Library Downloads

The Student Portal's Digital Library delivers files through MOCC's own secure service, after checking that you are signed in and that your access level includes the file. Files are never shared as public Drive links. When a download completes, MOCC records which resource was downloaded, your account identifier and email address, and the time. This record is visible only to MOCC administrators, is used to understand which resources are useful and to support students, and is deleted automatically after 365 days. We do not record your IP address for this purpose and we do not sell this information. To ask for your records to be reviewed or removed, email Mocclive@gmail.com.

Blogger, Cookies and Log Data

This site is hosted on Google’s Blogger platform. Like most websites, the underlying hosting and analytics infrastructure (Google) may automatically log standard technical information such as browser type, approximate location, and pages visited, and may set cookies for functionality, security and analytics purposes. We do not control this infrastructure-level data collection directly; it is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.

Advertising and Third-Party Cookies

MOCC may display advertisements on the public, informational pages of this website through Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this and other websites, which enables Google and its partners to show ads based on visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, and you can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. Advertisements are not shown inside the Student Portal, the Test Centre, examinations or administration pages. MOCC does not sell personal information to advertisers.

How We Use Information

Any information you send us directly is used only to respond to your question, guide you on courses or exam preparation, and improve the resources we publish. Student Portal account information (name, email, access level) is used only to authenticate you, show you the resources your access level permits, and let MOCC manage enrolments. We do not sell personal information to third parties.

Third-Party Links

Some posts may link to external resources (such as official exam-body websites or reference material). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those external sites, and we encourage you to review their own policies before sharing information with them.

Children’s Privacy

This website is intended for aspirants preparing for competitive exams and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page.
